Thank you for the thoughtful mention, Jeannie. Happy to have made a connection with you through our shared appreciation for sci-fi. 🤖❤️ I'm preparing to send out a short film adaptation of Pupil A4R1 that I put together! 🎬Stay tuned. And Happy Christmas.
I’m so glad for our connection too Meg! Awesome, I definitely look forward to your short film adaptation. Happy Christmas, and hope you enjoy your final days of 2022♥️
Thanks for another wonderful reading, Jeannie. If it adds color in the least, I believe it was St. Francis of Assisi whom kissed the man with leprosy that revealed himself to be Jesus in disguise. I think about that moral a lot and appreciate you very much. ♥️
Your post this week is chuck full of good stuff that is well worthy of comment; however I choose to limit my comments to the too overlooked importance of play. It seems as we grow through school and early adulthood, too many of us lose life's balance; focusing on the 'important things in life", not balancing fun and play in our daily lives. The fact that frolic and fun are hard wired in our DNA is observable: for example; a group of women in their 50-60s having a really fun event together will jump up and down on their tip toes screaming just as they did at age 4; my favorite example, a 25 year old, 6'8", 280 lbs. NFL defensive tackle upon sacking the Quarter Back will skip across the field like a 4 year old little boy. Your niece never forgets play time for a single day, and neither should we.
What you share here gives me JOY, Duke. You get it! Thank you for driving this home ♥️ I hope we can all feel free enough to frolic and skip and play when the daily opportunities arise 🧚🏻♂️ thank you too for sharing your insight. I cherish it.
Hmm- play is never something that came easily to me… I have always held the world with so much gravity. Your playfulness is one of the many things I love about you. Thanks for inviting me into levity…into joy.
Thank you for your honesty Ann. I acknowledge that sometimes it’s easier said than done. There have been plenty of times when I was void of joy. I remember a time when I couldn’t even laugh. I suppose that’s why I value it so much now. I have always loved being silly with you Ann! ♥️😝
