Oh my gosh what a day! I love the ending, all the doing and not doing and it reminds me of the juxtaposition of “I have to” vs. “I get to” - it’s all about how you look at it!
Also, curious and don’t answer if you don’t want to say... were you on your cycle? I have this theory that many falls like this happen during this time! I got in a car crash many years ago and had to go to the ER (I was fine) and I was talking to a nurse about he’s noticed that many women who come to the ER with accidents happen to be on their cycle... guess what? I was definitely on mine.
I’m so glad you enjoyed this one Stephanie! At first I was hesitant to “blame” my period, but I was absolutely on mine when this happened! Honestly, that’s a very plausible theory. I do tend to be more clumsy and out of sorts with the shift in hormones and whatever else happening during that time.
By “doing” or “not doing” all the things you described, I hope you realized that was a new type of perfection. You honored you perfectly! Nice work in your growth away from doing and being perfect by standards and instead achieving perfect listening for you! You know this is my “work in progress” for me as well. ❤️
Thank you for this acknowledgment Lana. Yes, the progress in this area feels good 🙏🏼 I always appreciate knowing someone else is learning these things too, we’re in it together!
Ouch!!!! I know the feeling - holding so many things on both hands and running from A to B and hurting my toes doing so! Isn’t it amazing when no one shows up and we are relieved... 💕
Owwwww!!! Also, beautiful sinking into it. I looooove a cozy car date. All the feels! 🫶🏽
Hahaha soooo many feels!

Holy moly! That’s totally crazy, I swear every time one of my girlfriends has an accident they are on their period!
Thank you for this, Jeannie. From one hot mess to another. 💜🔥🥂🙂
Big cheers to us Meg! ☺️ you know, the kind where the drinks spill over the tops of the glasses, we’ll just keep the mess going.
