It’s the tiny little everyday, simple joys of life that make us happy if we take the time to relish them. ❤️

Jeannie! Such richness here! Love the way you describe our daily profound moments as anticlimactic mountaintops. Loved reading this and the peek it gives into your beautiful journey. It was a joy to be with you and Dom. Reminded me of parts of myself I have dismissed as well. Big love, sweet lady!

Jeff! What a pang of joy to see your comment. I can’t play it cool... I hoped you would make it here to read this. It was so good for my soul seeing you and the group! I wish I would have remembered to talk about your cross country skiing demonstrations after dinner. Also, The Weepies are the still the best musical gift you ever gave me.

Haha…I don’t think my skiing demonstration is one of the things the world needs you to share. ; )

Happy birthday to your mom! So happy you are experiencing the equanimity of all your presence. It feels good to find balance, doesn’t it? Even when it’s not dramatic or on-brand spa-life, it’s just nice to soberly see the world and accept it as it is. 💞🦉🦋 A big part of that is, of course, accepting your own self as you are.

Absolutely, Kara. That's such a good word 'equanimity.' And such a good phrase "equanimity of all your presence." Thank you. These concepts are a big reason why I love your Substack so much. You illuminate the beautiful sparks of light in everyday life, not to mention with wit, and grit, and humor. Love it.

My dear Jeannie,

Reading your post, as soon as it appeared in my inbox, did not cause a breeze to caress my neck, but it did cause me to feel the bliss of being surrounded in an infinite sphere of Love; which thanks to you, allowed me to ask myself my favorite question: "How good can it get.?

Thank you so very much for sharing your beautiful Love, bumps, bruises, and all.

Abundant Blessings,

Duke

Duke, I don't know how good it can get. I do see it keeps getting better as I continue to ask the question and stay open to the answer each day. I am grateful you experience capital 'L' Love as you read. Those bumps and bruises are what allow us to see it action. Much Love, Jeannie
